Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that an Arab thing? I had a good friend who was a Christian from Jordan but was palestinian. He spoke fluent arabic and could read/write in it too. I'm pretty sure people over there in his family especially older ones dressed that way.
Besides God is one thing we have in common with the muslims (as christians), that we don't have in common with an atheist. Of course our cultures are different but my point is were people of faith.
Yeah, but only Islam teaches its people that spontaneously exploding in a crowd will give you a better afterlife.
Ramadan bombathon is the result of a Prophet who spread faith by force. Which explains why Islam isn't compatible with anything that isn't that particular strain of islam.
Christianity was spread by force, yes, but as non-Islamic religions have become civilized, they have also become less violent.
There is a difference. An enormous difference between the world only 100 years ago and today. Go back 200 years, and things get drastically different. A thousand years? Violence was the rule everywhere.

Sorry for pointing out, but Christianity was also spread by force.
