Claiming that "Islam teaches its people that spontaneously exploding in a crowd will give you a better afterlife", while knowing it's false, as you admit yourself, set yourself up to be taken down due to that insincerity.
It's like the claim that "all Trumpers are racists!", which is not true. It's just a "smear" by someone who don't want people to see Trumpers as humans.
Most true Muslims are like most true Christians God fearing good people who want to live in peace and don't want to be bothered by governments or what have you.
And both actual Christians and Muslims can recognize charlatans claiming to be of a certain faith but who in reality is not, those "fake believers" who only are 'into religion' to get themselves money and power.
And then of course there are those who want to fool Christians and Muslims to kill each other.

If the religion weren't interpreted and distributed by imams, you would be correct.
Unfortunately, the religion as it exists today DOES teach that.
If the Vatican taught Christians to do it, people would blame that VERSION of Christianity. And they would be correct to do so.
