He then side-swiped the flatbed and tore the right side of his Jeep up, and came to a stop right on the fuel drum. The rear-end collision from the sedan caused a fire, which was exacerbated heavily by the fuel drum.

Even when the Ford Pinto gas tanks were causing fires when struck a certain way they didn't explode into a gigantic tower of flame. Show me another instance in which a car crash caused a 30-ft fireball to occur in one of the vehicles.

Nobody "crashed into" him. The sedan is spun around backwards, off the road, and its rear end is torn away. His Jeep has massive front-end and frame damage, with the front end pushed backwards into the cabin and the frame is heavily bent and buckled.The doors of his Jeep are also torn backwards.
Here's what goddamn happened: the flatbed was stopped (did you forget there were witnesses?). The people in the sedan pulled out in front of a speeding Jeep. He smashed into them, which pushed them into the back of the flatbed (notice their sedan has front-end damage too?). He crushed the back completely and tore it off, causing fuel to spill. He then side-swiped the flatbed and tore the right side of his Jeep up, and came to a stop right on the fuel drum. The rear-end collision from the sedan caused a fire, which was exacerbated heavily by the fuel drum.
