My folks have had it too. My dad is going through long-term preventative treatments for bladder cancer, so his doctor required both he and my stepmother take the vaccine. I’m not sure if they’ve had their second shots yet, but I know they’ve gotten the first.
They’re both mid-to-late 70s, so they’re in that higher risk group.
