We Christians today aren't much better than the Christians in 1st Corinthians. 42,000 denominations, we spend more time arguing with other over doctrine than spreading the gospel. 'Christians' addicted to porn, homosexual acts, etc. 'Christians' wanting to accept worldly doctrine to please those around them instead of pleasing God. Yesterday was a reminder that we need to be united under Christ crucified and put all this petty shit behind us as we walk further into persecution under our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Indeed, but not even the Corinthians said "the Scriptures written til now are not perfectly preserved and are full of mistakes and we have to study all versions and make up our own versions." These days everyone wants to be a "scholar"...Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of THE truth.
The King James version was written to be the Bible of the heretical man made church of England that Henry VIII created because the real Church would not let him have a divorce. It is a made up version that omits important books of the Bible that had been canonized for over a thousand years before that point.
