There is no argument. This thing is bad. If you say it isn’t bad then you are defending a bad thing which means you are bad.

This game of histrionics, where point out how something happening now is just like something we’d agree is bad is not a useful nor productive way of discussing things. We see it again and again. It’s pointless because people see it in terms that are just too simple. What if you don’t agree something in the past wasn’t necessarily bad? Or not bad in the way they want it to be?
