They are trying to manufacture plausible deniability. Right now the ballots and machines are at THEIR locations. THEY have been responsible for them since Election Day. If abnormalities or outright fraud is found now the chain of custody leads DIRECTLY to them. Once the ballots are moved from one location to another you have introduced multiple more people into the chain of custody and all they have to do is find one Trump supporter who worked moving the ballots to cast doubt on the whole thing.
If the AZ Senate doesn’t demand access to them WHERE THEY ARE RIGHT NOW then, mark my words, some shenanigans will happen in the process of moving them and the media will use it to derail the entire audit.
This is the second time I've read about the board of supervisors doing this. I think they did it a month or so ago and machines and/or ballots may have already been loaded on trucks once. I don't think they went anywhere last time because one of the state senators waffled on the audit.
I don’t think it was waffling on the audit. The board (supposedly) loaded them all up and said “where do you want them?” In order to make the senate look incompetent, because they knew full well that the senate did not ask for them to ship the ballots anywhere. Custody can be assumed by keeping them right where they are.

This is the correct answer. In fact this answer needs to be its own post an stickied

This isn't easy to keep up with but:

My guess is they want a way to claim the results invalid due to xyz during transport. There needs to be streaming video of the entire process, imo.
They're the senate, so if they have the votes they can grab any government building they want.
But they aren't trying to hide anything, right?
grr these fucking commies
