Ironic that Western governments refuse to acknowledge the results of the 2014 Crimean status referendum (97% voted to be part of Russia), which I bet was less fraudulent than 2020.
Hmm now that makes sense. The Ukrainian people voted to join who they viewed would help them most... Russia.
But US wants Ukraine for oil or whatever and so the US media says that Russians are killing Ukrainians and they need help...Meanwhile I'd bet attacks on Ukrainian people are perpetrated by the US.
I remember few years back when i was told non-stop by the news that Russia is evil and trying to steal some tiny useless country. made me wonder.

For clarity, the main issue is that Crimea is ethnically mostly Russian.
I'm sure the current conflict in the east of Ukraine could be quickly resolved if the parts that are majority Russian were given a similar choice to separate from Ukraine and join Russia. Of course the West would never accept that kind of democratic freedom.
look at Crimea now compared to rest of Ukraine. Crimea is a hot spot tourist destination with casinos and resorts while the rest of Ukraine is an impoverished shit hole.
