I have a co-worker who was hella cool. Still is, but now that he’s gotten his shot (which I literally don’t understand; he’s been living basically normally this whole time) I’ve noticed he brings it up increasingly more and is getting increasingly testy.

I’m not taking it, but damn is the tension getting thick with some friends and family. And I know there’s no point arguing my perspective, so I’m just bracing for their anger to get worse when it’s my fault another “outbreak“ happens or some other bs reason they lock us down again.

I think a big reason they are getting so mad is they are starting to realize they got the jab for nothing. They still have to wear a mask etc. They still can't do anything. And they are going to blame all the non vaxx for it. Brace yourselves

I am an RN working as a school nurse. There was a big meeting about me. All the school bigwigs are concerned I “don’t believe in covid”. My nurse boss, I have many above me, told them I work weekends at the hospital caring for covid patients, and I’m sure she “believes” in it.

I still have a job, for now. I don’t share my political views at school, I work in the belly of the beast. I guess I just exude “it’s all BS”

Start shopping around for a new job in a Southern state, at a Christian hospital. Get ahead of them so you're not caught offguard when they fire you.

Phew. That sucks. Behavior like that blows my mind. The tribalism never stops.

Yeah it’s the first time I have been singled out for my personal beliefs; even though they are just guessing what it is I believe

I’m just gonna hang tight and hopefully ride it out.

You can always say “I developed a healthy natural immunity. YOU have a leaky fake vaccine that creates superviruses. You should quarantine yourself for life.”

Had a coworker try to say we won't go back in the office till everyone has the jab.

Yeah, Im not getting a shot faggot. And the product runs on my ideas. Checkmate

Ive been saying im not necessarily against a covid vax...im just going to wait for an FDA approved option. And until then, ive decided to volunteer for the control group.

I may borrow that.

Do it. Most of them dont even realize theyre not approved. Saying it this way does it without insulting them, but still gives them something to think about.

If you want to freak him out tell him that somebody already reverse-engineered the vaccine and posted the gene sequence to GitHub. Now he’ll have to worry about being biohacked in the future.

Do you have a link for that?

It's human testing with an un approved "Vaccine"

Logic doesn’t work in Silicon Valley. You just get news headlines as a counterargument.

How is he getting testy?

3
Q-Skeptic [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

You just notice he’s saying more often that the studies against vaccines are bullshit and keeps asking why I don’t want to take it. Brings it up more and before he got it I think we talked about it one time.

By taking it, he made it part of his identity. They literally don't even think it lasts more than a year tops, some even say 6 months. The shot is fucking miserable, and I will not take that shit twice (4x shots) a year even if I believed in the vaccine's effectiveness against COVID.

Right lol it’s wack, I often work outside CVS’s and Walgreenses. It’s so warped seeing people excited to get their vax, and come out with really sore arms feeling sick.

2
TonsOfSalt 2 points ago +2 / -0

The sore arm and sickness comes the day after. The only thing that happens instantly is the occasional anaphylaxis requiring emergency intubation. "only"

I mean either that has exceptions, or I’m running into a lot of people at those places a little while after they’ve got their shot. Which makes sense since they’re pharmacies.

Still, yeah only a tad bit of occasional anaphylaxis. Seems worth it.

4 shots a fucking year. Sounds like a temperament shot to me, like what we give to unruly cats and dogs.

I’m sure that’s how these big pharma billionaires openly talk about us to each other.
