Yep, those where great and suitable for kids of all ages. I remember them well too, had lots of fun there and learned a lot of physics "the hard way" so to speak. Then the government came in with their cucked regulations and demolished it over night.
For years it was just sand, they they put up some pathetic baby swings and a tiny little play house for babies. After that nobody ever visited that playground again, not even babies. The older of us evolved to video games or watching movies, while the younger where forced to play in the "safe" playground. Poor kids always looked depressed there.
You don't even have to go that far back. Growing up in the 80s and 90s we had some pretty sick playgrounds too.
