It would help men but probably not society though unfortunately. Just more single moms getting gov handouts and kids without fathers.
This is completely non-liberty minded but I wonder if instant marriage at pregnancy with divorce (with some exceptions) and adultery outlawed wouldn't solve some societal problems....
Very easy solution no one wants to admit: marry only in the eyes of God in a church (the only place where marriage really counts for anything) and skip legal marriage in the eyes of the government altogether. It only works if you're a person of faith though and actually fear God, because that's the only thing that will make the marriage binding for life (unless you're not afraid of being an adulterer or bigamist and being damned for it).
