we don't need sports, we need Americans to defend the US Constitution.

If you don't want to defend the US Constitution, then just read the Declaration of Independence.

Watching sports--be it one sport or several--is an indispensable part of tens of millions of Americans lives, and their very wardrobe indicates that (with hats, T-shirts, jerseys, jackets), and the actions by professional sports leagues are a sign of big societal shifts (not only about the relocation of the All-Star Game, but about kneeling during anthems, promoting BLM, and political activism during the broadcast of a game, and now with transgender athletes participating at both the school level and professional level), and some states and cities are more on board with those changes than others.

They’re methodically eliminating the circus.

Maybe they’ll go for the bread next. Maybe not.

Either way, what happens when you take the circus away from people? ...

Well, they took the live baseball circus away from Georgians, and the significance of that is that it is a sign of how serious the cultural opposition is getting between the Woke Mob and Conservatives. Biden has been installed for 3 months now; this "progressive progression" will continue.
