Imagine willingly scoring 81 points on a predetermined game (your 666th), but never being able to achieve such an accomplish literally ever, at all, again
Yeah, but that’s assuming it’s all on Kobe. The points he can score in a game are not solely determined by him, but a function of his opponents and teammates as well.
If 81 was unusually low for him, you’d have a point, because in that case, it could in fact have been totally up to him to play “poorly” in order to accomplish that. But because 81 is unusually high, it would require the cooperation of both the opposing team and his own to allow him to score exactly that number in exactly that game.
Or some intervention by Satan on his behalf, I suppose.
I’m not saying it’s impossible, because I know better than to claim it with that certainty—you could indeed be correct—I’m just saying that it’s not as simple as Kobe deciding “yeah, I’m gonna score 81 points in my 666th game.” That’s not something he could in any way guarantee on his own.
Edit: my bad, thought you were the first guy for some reason. Pretty sure you’re actually agreeing with me.
Kobe was a satanist. 81 points in his 666th game.
I mean... that could also just be coincidence.
