I agree Pede, but I think MTG is being rhetorical and just making a strong point. It's just a thought, but perhaps the mark of the beast will be realized when they do away with cash money; then buying/selling would only be possible by electronic transactions.... We're almost functioning in that manner now.

Oh I've assumed for months that cash will be one of the next things to go. They'll most likely use covid as the excuse for it as well.

I don't fear much, but somehow that scares the crap out of me.

Pretty sure I read somewhere mid last year that some places were refusing cash because of it.

I’ve heard rumors of that. It’s probably not far from being a reality for most places. Once the majority of places start banning cash, I expect the government to make it law.

That’s when the Mark comes into play. That gives them the options to freeze your accounts for not complying.

so they'll force us to use Libra...and every other crypto will be banned. Maybe this is a reason why major corporations and billionaires are all funding Libra.

It’s Definitely in the works. There was the quarter shortage last year and when I went to the bank recently to get some euros for a trip I plan to take, I had to order them and it took five days to arrive at the bank for me to pick them up. The teller told me starting last year they were told they couldn’t have foreign currencies on hand anymore. Very strange.
