And this particular officer has not made a street arrest since 1993 he testified. He is a detective, not a patrol officer.... Prosecution has put together a clown team of witnesses..
Strangely some people are idiots and still moving into Minneapolis (my sister). Not sure why anyone would feel safe there anymore. Been there twice in the last year, and progressively worse each time. Keep the rats in the cage, thats the democratic motto i guess..
u/cuomoisamassmurderer is a agitator shill, likely from reddit AHS. I wish .win allowed user tags because I have a few users I would tag so I know not to read anything they say.
u/cuomoisamurderer probably also thinks Fauci, who has been an administrator for 20+ years, knows anything about healthcare. "well he has been in the healthcare business for 35 years, right? right?"
It was plainly stated and established in the trial that he has been a Police officer the whole time. The only reason it's only 35 years is because he worked outside of Minneapolis for his first 4 years or so.
He's a Lieutenant. His job includes supervising and training everyone under him. He directs detectives.
Expecting that he's irrelevant because he doesn't know what he's doing will only disappoint you. Defense exposing that he LIED about one of the most important aspects of the case is something I'm hoping for, and that it results in everything he said being disregarded by the jury. That's legitimately hard for them to do considering his testimony was the last thing they heard before the weekend, and it may be weeks before the defense can address it. By that time it may be "baked into the pie."
I don't know if this amounts to legitimate good strategy by the prosecution, or if this is the corrupt injustice we all expect taking form.
he is a detective. He is not a street patrol officer that regularly arrests people. If thats not obvious enough.. Last time he did street patrol as Chauvin did, tazers were not even being used.
You miss the point... Dude has not been on the "streets" for almost 3 decades. 3/4 of George Floyds life. And his credibility in terms of excessive force are still as valid? Cmon man, excessive force is best detailed by someone who regularly uses it, not some so called "behind the scenes expert that never uses it"
He's there as the LT in charge of that particular crime scene, not a use of force expert. Defense clarified that when it comes to use of force training, he's a student not a trainer. He goes through the same training every other Officer gets every year, he certainly doesn't know any less.
If he was lying, it's stupid to have Court rules prevent that from being challenged so false ideas sink into the Jury over the weekend.
From what i saw, I thought the defense lawyer did a good job pointing out the nature of his work vs his testimony. Tough case anyway you look at it but I thought that interaction was won by the defense.. Not a lawyer and therefore this message can not be perceived as legal guidance lol.
This is my basic point, it's a tough case. Everybody seems to think it's open and shut, on both sides. I can understand having strong opinions for almost a year with no new evidence, but evidence is coming out now.
I hope everything this LT said gets thrown out based on the "maximal restraint" they had GF in being in their manual. (Assuming it is) if LT is willing to straight up LIE about that, prosecution needs to establish everything he said from somebody else.
I don't think what he said will be thrown out based on 35 years of experience, more than anyone else in the city. Seems like a strange idea people here are advancing.
all off? What the heck are you talking about, i listened to his testimony and thats where the numbers came from. It would be better if you were not so critical of every little thing..
The numbers are more like 8 years as a detective out of a 39 year career in law enforcement. With the most recent 10+ year string being involved every time anyone gets hurt or killed when someone is taken into custody, or fails trying. Meaning he's been personally involved with more such cases than any cop on the street, and responsible for all of them in his precinct in terms of supervision and training.
Quite different from what people here are saying.
Downvotes mean people are misinformed, biased to the point of being impervious to fact, or something; none of which is good.
We'll need to keep our mental faculties and stick together if we're to have any hope through the bs that's coming. And I mean WAY past this trial ...
5-311 USE OF NECK RESTRAINTS AND CHOKE HOLDS (10/16/02) (08/17/07) (10/01/10) (04/16/12)
DEFINITIONS I.

And this particular officer has not made a street arrest since 1993 he testified. He is a detective, not a patrol officer.... Prosecution has put together a clown team of witnesses..
Political theater 🎭. So when do they start burning shit down hard core again? “Hence hard core because they didnt stop burning shit down”

Is your sister a lib?
unfortunately yes, shes a teacher in the toughest school district in the cities. She has been indoctrined with the garbage we read about everyday.
Can you explain how 35 years of experience makes him less qualified?
35 total years of experience doesn't mean 35 years of being a cop walking the beat.
Wow, that was hard.
So easy you forgot to address the question
If he hasn't been a police officer for years, then he's forgotten what it's like nowadays to be one.
Got it now?

And reported for being a shill. Gotta get the libtards off. (Not you lesbo, the cuomo libtard)

Yeah, but that username...

Agitate against swallowing bullshit, yes.
Since you don't like critical thought, you should avoid what I say like the plague.
lol, whatever you think, shill. when should we expect the imminent CP posts to start?
He's been a Police Officer for 35 years, longer than anyone else in Minnedishu. He doesn't forget Academy, let alone his first year on the job.
He's not been a police officer for 35 years. He's been a detective for most of that. That's not the same thing.
It was plainly stated and established in the trial that he has been a Police officer the whole time. The only reason it's only 35 years is because he worked outside of Minneapolis for his first 4 years or so.

He looks like an ass sniffer to me.
Well that settles it then.
he is a detective. He is not a street patrol officer that regularly arrests people. If thats not obvious enough.. Last time he did street patrol as Chauvin did, tazers were not even being used.
That might be relevant had a taser been used.

It would be better if you reviewed his service record, your numbers are all off.
all off? What the heck are you talking about, i listened to his testimony and thats where the numbers came from. It would be better if you were not so critical of every little thing..
Do your down votes tell you anything?

Minneapolis policies – they state:

The techniques described in your post weren’t what was used on Floyd.
The only purpose of publishing one line of testimony from a week of trial is to rile up the Black Lives Matter mob.
Even if, it's still not COD.
