Slightly up but it has nothing to do with COVID. More people = more deaths and the death rate has been rising since Obama's unfettered migration started.
Johns Hopkins released the #s and then retracted when it didn’t fit the narrative but the trend is normal. If you subtract all the excess ODs and suicides the trend is actually less than 2019.
Apparently 2.8 million people die per year in the US. Are we now at 3.3 million? Or are we still at 2.8 or something close to 2.8? These numbers are the actual science I want to fucking see!!!
Death rate in the US climbed 1.29% in 2014 over 2013, but both 2019 and 2020 had a death rate increase of only 1.12%. COVID had little to no effect on the total number of dead.
Of note, the death rate in the US was dropping .96% a year 2004 to 2008. I wonder what happened in 2008 that made the death rate jump from -.96% to +1.29% in 7 years?
Good point, I bet that is part of it. I was leaning towards unfettered migration for the first big jump right after Obama was selected but was still wondering about the 2nd big spike the year Xi was selected. I think you nailed it.
The numbers should be higher if including the Flu, Heart Disease and Diabetes, but since the numbers are missing, the death per year should be around the same?
More deaths occurred in 2020 vs 2019 *** but *** the death rate increase was the same year to year.
The death rate in the US has been increasing since Obama was elected (?mass migration?) but the rate of increase started dropping in 2014. 2019 and 2020 have the same calculated rate increase of 1.120%. There was NO increase in death rate associated with SARS-2/COV-19 over 2019->2020 and was lower than 2018's 1.22% increase over 2017.
From Canada: Been waiting for numbers to come in: finally have July 2019 to July 2020. All-cause death rate has been going up every year for at least 10 years because of aging population. If you normalize to number of people over 80, then the death rate is flat over the past 10 years; 2010 and 2011 being more deadly than 2020. It is all fake. It was just the flu.
I've seen it. The increase in deaths is consistent over the last 5-8 years consistent with the baby boomers passing away.
We are barely slightly up. Not even close to 500,000. I think it was maybe 100,000 more, not quite 200,000.

Death rates been going up. People aren't as active and fit as before and boomers are aging out.

I would be willing to bet opiates.

I haven't seen any official numbers, but I don't know if I'd trust them if I saw them.

I think I saw something like 15% increase.
Is that worth everything that happened? MY POV No.

Just found this, but not sure source. But let's say it's true, it's still 40% less than what they're purporting.
World population went up 60 million in 2020.
