So today out and about, i saw more maskless people then i have the previous several weeks. For example i was at a Lowes and saw upwards of 20 maskless people. Usually it'll be 5 or less, myself included. I usually smile or nod and i think that gets the point across and i usually get a smile or nod back. Just wondering if anyone has a go to line for this situation.

In Northern Ohio if it matters.

I’ve noticed the same in upstate, NY. Normally I’m the only one without a mask. I might see one or two depending on the store. Today, I saw dozens. I was shocked.

I don’t say anything. Just seeing someone without a mask is refreshing. If you wanted to say something, maybe go with a classic like. “MAGA”, “Trump won”, or maybe something less political like “The best is yet to come” or “Keep it great”. Maybe give an “okay” hand signal or a head nod.

I shopped at the local H‑E‑B the other day without a mask and the best part was a kid with his Mom who was obviously sick of being made to wear a mask tell his mom, “Look Mom. That man isn’t wearing a mask. Why do I have to?”. The mom was annoyed which made it all worth it.

I like the smile and thumbs up signal. It always gets a smile back for me no matter where I am. They get it. I get it when it happens to me as well.

go talk to the management at the lowes and tell them you appreciate it

they're the ones that LET these people walk around maskless

that's where you should be applying your gratitude

I made a similar post a bit down the page on what happened to me today. I looked them in the eye and said “thank you for being logical and sane” I think from now on I’m verbally thanking everyone I see, so passers by can have something to think about.

Maybe a simple thank you is just right, theyll get the point.

I engaged a conversation with a gentleman in a Vietnam Veterans cap, it was a good long conversation about different theories of the origin or purpose of the coof. He did not know about Cuomo and the scandals related to the nursing homes. I let the guy know about this site and he seemed appreciative. He also saw some possibility of truth in my theory that they're using facial recognition software on the stores CCTV to figure out who the "leaders" may be in the future.
