I told him no and he recommended it. Family members have been telling me I should get vaccinated before having this procedure done. In order to avoid further drama, thought maybe I'd put it off another 6 months or so since it is not an urgent thing.

Why does he want to know? What has that got to do with having a tooth pulled?
Not sure... If it's to protect himself, he has the option to get the vaccine.
