I told him no and he recommended it. Family members have been telling me I should get vaccinated before having this procedure done. In order to avoid further drama, thought maybe I'd put it off another 6 months or so since it is not an urgent thing.

I have a family friend who feels the need to let me know where she and her family are with the vaccine in every card. For example:

Christmas card.. "looking forward to getting the vaccine!"

Valentine's card.. "getting my first vaccine!"

St. Patrick's day card.. "getting my second dose!"

Easter card.. "my daughter is set to get her first vaccine!"

Weird, weird, weird. I have never, once mentioned the subject to her, but she clearly needs to let me know all about it.

I would tell them to stop bothering me about the vaccine.

Gnat, tell her you will get the vaccine as soon as they finish the animal trials. At least she survived her participation in the animal trials. Hope her daughter does.
