Look, I grew up on baseball. I played all the way from the little league years through high school and used to take the train to the Willets Point station to catch games all the time. I loved the Mets. We fucking sucked and it seems the only games we would win were the Subway Series games. Shea Stadium was an absolute shithole. But going to games with my dad was a very special memory for me. That was our bonding time. That was when things were good. I mean hell, some of the best times I had with my dad involved meeting him at his office downtown, him dipping out early and us making our way out to the game. Getting home late at night.
Over the past few years they really ruined the sport. Backpack bans (for your safety), bullshit woke garbage (for the safety of criminals), this rice rabies policy (for your safety).
