sounds like you don't enjoy learning science

I don't enjoy misinterpreted science. I also don't like propaganda disguised as Science with a capital s.

Here is what is wrong with the study you linked. And every fact I'm about to drop has been taught by every medical and biology program in the world. Internet fact checkers have only changed your interpretation.

"Expelled droplets" is not how viruses are spread. People expelling droplets are usually symptomatic, and don't go anywhere.

The study simply tests different fabrics having air blown through them, which is NOT expelled droplets. Then it has people cough through the material. It makes no sense as an experiment.

The caveats at the beginning are enough to utterly disqualify the results in the real world as anyone not trained in the use of a mask is just spreading more viruses everywhere they go, and the study acknowleges that.

Airborne viruses are mostly spread by viruses travelling in exhaled vapor. These vapors, like viruses they carry, can travel 100 feet through the air and go through a mask like a fly through a fence. The most common place people contract viruses from the air do so through their eyes. All a mask does is accelerate the air it travels on.

But mostly viruses are spread through contact with commonly-touched areas. A sick person touches their mouth or nose, touches an area, and someone else touches that area and then touches their face.

In the above, a mask-wearer is carrying around a warm, moist petri dish of everything they have breathed or walked through, and they touch the mask with their hands several times a minute.

Sunce there is a solid correlation between mask mandates and covid cases, the science is on my side, right?

Honestly, that is such a lame study, it only suggests that mask wearing MIGHT reduce spatter transmission over no mask at all.

If you got all the way to here, congratulations. Most sheep stop reading anything they don't agree with almost immediately. The really stupid ones reply with a comment about how they proudly didn't read it. If I didn't change your mind, at least we can respectfully disagree.

and go through a mask like a fly through a fence

wrong. aerosols start at 5 microns. mask materials are tested down to 0.1 microns

In the above, a mask-wearer is carrying around a warm, moist petri dish of everything they have breathed or walked through, and they touch the mask with their hands several times a minute

no one gives a shit, the mask is not intended to protect THE WEARER

short answer you have no idea what science actually is

long answer you search for bullshit that dismisses science INTENTIONALLY and parrot if (fly through a fence) because you think it supports your narrative and your agenda is all you actually care about

i bet you don't even know what VIRAL LOAD is. it puts science firmly in the lead REGARDLESS of the actual efficacy of masks

Oh, okay. You're an idiot. My mistake.
