I my city, if you want to throw a TV away, you need to take it to the City Yard. Show your ID proving that you life in the same city. They give you a sticker to put on the TV, then bring the TV to the proper place in the yard where a worker checks to make sure that the proper sticker is on it before he loads the TV into the container. Getting rid of an old TV is more secure than our elections.
Shit, I think I just have to call the garbage company to let them know. Or take it to best buy and they trash the shit. Unless you are talking old CRT tvs but those are basically antique now.
