They can't acknowledge Christ and say christian s they say easter worshippers to avoid. They hope everyone thinks they worship the easter bunny

It's because saying any word containing a variation of Christ causes them pain considering they're evil and not of this world.

Nailed it. They can't stand any thought about the Light. They refuse to acknowledge Jesus. In the end Jesus will separate the light from the darkness again, for all eternity.
