You seem to delight in trolling Christians on this board, judging by your post history. I suspect you are either a teenager, a nihilist or neo-pagan nut. Unsurprisingly, you dragged yourself into this thread too.
You subscribe to some spectacularly anachronistic beliefs, like the adorable Gibbon-esque insistence that Christianity was what sapped Rome of its martial ethos. When in fact, Christianity was what saved the Roman Empire, after its apathetic people completely rejected Roman values. There have been brilliant works tracing how provincial elites came to reject identifying themselves with Roman citizenship, and how Roman citizens willingly and happily switched to identifying themselves by different ethnicity, as one would change a hat. (Something seemingly happening in America today, as society rejects America's founding ideals in favor of tribalization).
It was Christianity, in a process began by Constantine the Great, which arrested the decrepitude of Rome. And it was not pagan barbarians that finally triumphed over its western half. It was other Christianized people.
You have also mocked Protestant values, which shows a complete ignorance of history. It was Protestants who skyrocketed literacy, who beat back the Spanish Armada, conquered most of the world, and pushed back the frontier of Manifest Destiny and walked on the moon. Protestantism is the most vigorous and successful religion in world history, and has shown the ability to constantly renew itself and re-awaken.
We are going through a period of decadence. But I would bet on Protestants vs whatever LARP or nihilism crap you subscribe to (and which has seemingly left you profoundly ignorant of basic historical scholarship).
The board's been overrun with the usual christian bullshit that has little to do with Trump and belongs over on c/christianity lately, for obvious reasons. You're also attributing secular Renaissance and Enlightenment values to protestants, which I find silly. You know what else protestants did? Witch burnings, slavery, mass-persecution. We didn't skyrocket literacy by praying. The Spanish Armada (why am I supposed to give a damn about this one anyway?) wasn't sunk and the world wasn't conquered by miracles. We didn't work out how to get to the Moon by reading a christian bible. Protestants are still the minority of christians today and now their countries are facing the same decadence Rome faced.

How dare people share joy on Easter morning!! Next thing you know they will celebrate Christmas! And some dare to call this year 2021!!!
Anno Domini 2021.
"In the year of the Lord" 2021.
Yes, our country's founding documents mention the date of the Lord's birth.
