Jesus is the Lamb of God. In the New Covenant, which he came to establish, he is the new Passover Sacrifice, which is why He commands us to drink of His blood and eat of His flesh (through Transsubstantiation). His blood was required to establish the new Covenant, which is why He did not save Himself from Crucifixion. Honestly you're just flaunting your complete ignorance of Christianity.

Never heard the phrase "the lord is my shepherd"?

Does a shepherd not tend, lead, feed, nourish, treat, and protect his flock? Yes, we must one day be harvested, but that is an inevitability, and I'd rather be called to God when I am, rather than be torn asunder by the wolves as a helpless lamb.

Yes, but not out of the good of his heart.

Ah, so you think you have it worse than Jesus (God made flesh) who was constantly persecuted by the Jews and was slowly tortured to death and is slandered 2000 years later by communists and intellectually lazy atheists like yourself that just regurgitate half-assed, half-wit comments without learning a single thing about what you're arguing?
