Community banks and credit unions are very good. They offer excellent interest bearing accounts. There is nothing socialist about a community bank or a credit union, to say so is ridiculous
Communism in the family. Socialism in the neighborhood. Capitalism everywhere else.
I have no issue with a local credit union being classified as a socialist institution. Especially since major banks are an even more egregious example of textbook socialism.
Oct 9, 2020 Following Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong's recent rejection of woke capitalism in which he declared that his employees must keep their personal politics out of the workplace or leave, about five percent of the company's workers have actually left the cryptocurrency firm.

Divine right of Kings within the family.
That’s a really good replacement. I like it. Thank you.
Socialism doesn’t mean “controlled by the state”. It means the wealth is shared by community, like in a credit union.
Stock is not “shared” by the community, it’s bought by private investors. Better luck next time
Mafia
The mafia has never harmed me as far as I'm aware. They'd probably be more fair than the fucking feds.
I have the same quandary. Currently have Bank of America. Need to find a better alternative for business and personal.
Don't forget to check out a local Savings & Loan. They are usually small and community based, with good customer service.
My home loan got sold to chase... anyway I can get out without paying for a refi?
Credit union, unless you're in Texas in which case there are a few good banks.
Or look into this maybe.

I’m moving my money to SoFi. Surely they’ll suck too but at least they seem to care about customers’ convenience.
