I'm not a lawyer or a union expert, but I know that there are Pedes who are.
Is there a way to establish Student Parent Unions in order to defend the students' "working" conditions and access to the necessary tools to do their "jobs"? In other words, as a way to represent the interests of the students against the demonstrated intention of the teachers' unions, which is to make sure that teachers and administrators do as little as possible for as much as possible without any concern for accomplishing their assigned tasks for which they are paid through forced taxation dollars--which is educating children.
That's true. I had left the home schooling option out, not because of the fact that it isn't actually the best option, which it is. But, there are many that believe, correctly or incorrectly, that they do not have it as a viable option. So, I was just throwing a nugget out there to start a conversation about a counterweight for those whose kids go to a public school.
