Using the Insurrection Act, would have created a Constitutional crisis like we haven't seen since the Civil War.
Do you truly believe the Pentagon would have sent forces out to keep Trump in power?
What would have been the end game if that had taken place? Trump declares himself dictator? Interim President until a new and fair election can be held?
That is the kind of rhetoric that makes it difficult for rational people to complain about Congress surrounding the Capitol with razor wire and National Guard.
We have to stop looking back. Learn from the past, sure, but focus on the future.
While it is apparent the military is complicit against Trump, i should point out in absence of a Constitutional crisis at the time is not helping the crisis we are experiencing now. And we are also heading into economic and financial crisis that will not be addressed, by virtue of the border crisis not being addressed.
The military reports to the Commander in Chief. Like it or not, Biden is President and CIC according to the US Constitution.
The question is - What can we do about it now?
Take over the GOP, primary Rino's, win back the House and Senate, put the breaks on Biden's destructive actions and work like hell to reverse them.
Agreed, but i was pointing out that even Mattis wound up being an anti-Trumper. I’ll do you one better though. I think local elections should be the focus. We need to build up the Farm Team while trying to drain the Federal swamp.

Look at what individual states have done to derail the left's complete domination of our lives. Towns and counties need to be a focus as well, especially to change the brainwashing happening in public schools.
The one thing that would have helped Trump greatly would have been to reign in Big Tech, and the fake news media. Section 230 or bust them up like was done with Ma Bell. Next he could have reinstated the Smith Mund Act to stop the media from propagandizing the American people. He didn’t have to become a dictator. Also remember that the GOP held the house and the senate for the first two years of his presidency, but an extremely weak GOP and Sessions let the Dems have their way with him. This is why I will never, ever support the GOP until they give it an enema and vote out all these RINO DEM lite cheap suits.
