Their goal is for America to represent the global people. Their motivation just shows when they insist that the global people shouldn't include the culture the company sprouted from. I think this is mostly due to stilted dipshits with a chip on their shoulder. America is not the default of humanity. It is a culture that for most of it's history was majority white and christian. They want to get rid of it because despite what they think they are simple minded idiots driven by their own malevolent biases.

I think this is easier to see when it comes to diversifying hollywood that clearly doesn't represent actual demographics. They say it's so everyone has representation. The thing is it's clearly to represent everyone across the globe, not the us itself. Just ask them if they think Chinese media needs to be as diverse. You know, in a country that is essentially an ethnostate. Of course they wouldn't because China is allowed to be Chinese.

I think it gets worse the deeper you go because while there isn't an American ethnicity there is an English ethnicity. They think that's racist if the English wants to be English in their own country. That thought process isn't anything other than racism. Can you imagine going to China and telling them that China needs to be less Chinese?
