hell yeah. gen3s are solid built. IMO 4 and 5 are nice, but theyre overkill. i much prefer the stippling on the newer ones though. picked it up used at LGS for a hell of a deal then took it over to the glock headquarters and they refreshed/replaced everything internally for free on the spot. never had an issue with it in quite a few years and probably 1500+ rounds(just me).
Right on. I had a 3 years ago but sold it pretty quickly. Was never a huge fan of the luger style grip, especially the larger palm swell on 3s. Don't care for the stock triggers either, but have a custom 4 now that I really enjoy the hell out of. If SHTF I'd probably grab it over everything else in the collection. Portable, concealable, good capacity, common caliber and readily available parts... hard to go wrong.
