Most will likely claim that they downvoted because you ruined a white-pill moment, and perhaps the comment was mildly inappropriate, however, there is a deeper truth to it than most realize.

A repentant individual would not return to the NPC grumpy face. There are many examples in scripture of individuals who were accepting of forgiveness, but struggled with giving up their "former life" (the rich man for example). People love to bring him up when they want to have a feeling of power over individuals who struggle with detaching from material items (how very Christ like of them!), but while the rich man that Jesus spoke to "went away sad", people skip over the fact that Jesus did not say it was impossible for a rich person to enter the kingdom, only that it was more difficult than for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, which, as historical studies suggest, was a common term used to describe some city gates which, when closed, had a smaller door with which to let limited numbers through at night.

If it was impossible, Jesus would have flat out stated that it was impossible, and not used a somewhat random poetic reference.

Again, maybe downvoted because it's "ruining the moment", but very very accurate.

I'm getting downvoted by bots. It actually has nothing to do with this comment, they're just hitting everything I post.
