Trump couldn't do anything more about the steal than he did, could he?

Considering he took literally 0 executive action, yeah he coulda done way more.

Trump hasn't come across as a vax Nazi. He's not a vocal advocate for vaccine mandates or passports. It seems like he and many of his supporters are on the same page - it's a personal choice.

He's been pushing them and considering these are the most dangerous vaccines since polio, and Trump has a history of being anti-vax, it does seem strange.

Be careful using terms like "our side". Unlike lefties, we are not a monolith. We can be on the same side supporting Trump and have our differences.

"Our side" is Trump supporters, which you literally just used yourself.

Be careful throwing stones if you live in a glass house.

I think we need to be much more tolerant of those differences.

Sure, but not really relevant to anything I said.

One at a time -

What could Trump have done, via Executive Order, to prevent the ultimate outcome of the election?

He did "0" because that was his only option.

All Federal authority derives from the President. He could have simply ordered the Federal branches - DOJ, FBI, DOD, DNI, etc to investigate the election,

Instead he did nothing.

Well fuck him, then, right?

Perhaps Trump had enough respect for the office that he didn't even think of going there.

That would have made Nixon's abuse of Executive power look like a DC parking ticket in comparison.

Most of us have serious problems with the DOJ/FBI, but how can we accuse Democrats for using them for political gain if we advocate Trump should have?

shrug

I'm simply asking the questions not offering the judgement.

Does he not take an oath to the Constitution? To protect it?

If the election was stolen, and Trump had evidence of such, failure to act is a violation of his oath.

If he did not have evidence the election was stolen that explains his inaction, but it doesn't explain his lies about it.

So either he is violating his sworn oath or he is lying out his ass to his followers.

Either of those options is bad news.

Most of us have serious problems with the DOJ/FBI, but how can we accuse Democrats for using them for political gain if we advocate Trump should have?

The Dems are exercising their legal authority tho. Trump should have exercised his.
