WalGreens sells alcohol now? I quit July 2002 (EVERYTHING to include 'other'). When you don't bother going down the alcohol aisle anymore, things change I guess! I remember living in a certain city in the 80s through 2007 while their (since abolished) local ordnance moronic 'blue law' was in effect (no booze sales of any kind, even beer, on sundays - which of course meant everybody drove out of town and back WASTED to get alcohol - another genius law) and will ALWAYS remember the central-downtown walgreens sidewalk was lined outside with passed-out natives who'd go into walgreens and buy all their ISOPROPYL/rubbing alcohol to consume. Geezus, talk about DESPERATE - glad i never reached that stage.

Oh we've got all kinds of liquor stores here (Nebraska), just don't recall WalGreens selling booze. Just sayin'. And I know several states STILL have the ridiculously-outdated 'dry counties' where you have to buy 'memberships' to buy/drink (is this 2021 or 1929?). One of my friends was blown away by the DRIVE THROUGH liquor stores on a recent trip to The South (I think Texas), had never seen that. Yeah I'll take two of those, one of those, a couple slim jims....and make it snappy.
