This is true. Saw a study on it years ago during my keyboard warrior phase. College students who self-identified as not believing in global warming were demonstrably more helpful to the environment when compared to those who professed the dogma of global warming when their personal habits/lifestyles were cross-checked.
Makes sense. I believe in the easily tangible benefits of not polluting water, littering, or wasting resources unnecessarily a lot more than I believe in the vague notions of climate change.
The funny part about it is that the true belief of global warming cannot coexist with the profession of consumerism. In fact, according to their own theory, consumerism/hedonism is what drives GW. So how did a bunch of consumerist hedonists come to believe in GW? And why do they continue?
we recycle more than people that believe i global warming lol
I've been riding BART for a decade to work and for meeting friends. None of my "environmental" friends would ever step foot on it.

Same here. It absolutely amazes me how the libs that I know are so wasteful and support such awful corporations like Amazon.
We are the ones who keep the earth clean and support locally grown, made products
