If Ashli Babbit actually died, only three people died AT THE CAPITOL JAN 6. Ashli, one stroke, and one heart attack. Another individual had a heart attack away from the Capitol when he went back to his car. Sicknick died the next day and it may have been entirely unrelated to the Capitol. No autopsy report, he was cremated within 48 hours. I am suspicious the guy back at his car may have seen something and been taken out, there is no information on him either. Ashli could not have been shot in the neck - line of fire 18" below her neck. In Congressional testimony someone said she was "shot in the chest". Someday we will know the whole story - we sure as hell don't know it now.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I've watched the footage of Ashli Babbit being shot, and the GUN DOES NOT LINE UP. If you draw a straight line along the axis of the gun, even accounting for some curving from perspective, the gun would've hit her much lower than the neck. The whole scene never felt right.

Just remember who she was surrounded by - undercover Antifa.

That's a very popular opinion.

Totally fake.

Yeah, well considering there's currently an even split of upvotes and downvotes, I guess I should "cure" my previous statement and say "controversial opinion"

I'm gonna dig that hole a bit deeper and say:

Many conservatives want to say Ashli was shot because they want their own Floyd, an injustice to rally around. I think she was shot because the media wanted us to have our own "Floyd". They wanted us to react hyper-negatively and get more violent so they had justification for a larger crackdown - but the problem is we're both more controlled and more cowardly/aware of the government clapback that would happen if we were to chimp out over her death. That didn't stop them from trying though.

I interviewed the first responder at the scene, he was allegedly a medic and claimed blunt force trauma to the neck from a gas canister. He couldn't have been more wrong though. It would have shown bruising in the video while everyone around pretended to freak out.
