Yup, look at the "climate change" bullshit. A bunch of nobodies in a field no one cares about, right up until the left starts pushing it as the sexy new catastrophe that morons should get worked up over. Now they get funding as long as it is a threat. If they find no evidence global warming is a thing, their funding gets cut and they go back to being nobodies. As long as they can keep the hoax alive, they will get more and more money to find ways to delay (not stop, aint no profit in fixing the issue permanently) the end of the world. And they are now "respected" scientists whose opinions now matter to the world. Who can give interviews and have their names known for as long as they are useful. Thats why they want us always on the cusp of annihilation with their 10 year timeframe.
