I grew up in the south side, we bullied each other a lot. There was no playground equipment after 3rd grade, just basketball hoops and concrete. Part of our recess was making fun of one another so bad you'd cry. That was our fun.
When I hit Jr high and then high school, the street thugs wanted us selling to our friends at school. Finding buyers and stuff. Saw my friends and classmates take that route. Those who didn't, myself included got a few beat downs for saying no.
Sure that was decades ago when I went... but I can't imagine it being better.
The best lesson you ever got taught in public school and its was 100% free. I got bullied and beat up pretty bad when I was in public school. I'm glad it happened. It shaped me into who I am today. I am tough as nails, not afraid of a fight, and don't tolerate any fucking bullshit from anybody, anywhere, at any time.
