I'm pretty sure my family and I got it in Dec 2019. the "first" cases popped up like 3 miles away from my then house in WA state. we all felt like shit for a week or two.
young dude in the crew that tiled my new house had it way early on, lost his sense of taste for a week, etc.
really really socially well known dude in my home town got it (~65 years old) and died nearly overnight.
wife's aunt and a whole shit-tonne of other folks in that social crew got it.
shits real and China def fucked us. It's the propaganda and the idea that it's going to kill everyone you love is the problem. its just the most dangerous thing between 55 and 65. after that age anything is dangerous.
