Thanks for posting! I'm such an old fart that I remember watching that episode when I was in college. Just a few years later I'd moved to DC and was here during Reagan's first campaign. His campaign offices were next door to where I was working. It was an absolutely awesome time to be here.
I've been HOUNDED for the horrible sin of Reagan-friendly posts before (which BAFFLES me on a Trump-friendly site!). Like, It's a THOUSAND percent HIS fault alone why immigration is in such a mess (extended worker visas, the 1986 Simpson-Mazolli Atrocity where he held up HIS part of the bargain only to get promptly shivved in the shoulderblades by the DemonRats - gee, what a surprise); he's personally responsible for all the AIDS death, a totally novel epidemic that NO ONE understood at the time, but it was his fault completely; somebody said they despised him because he outlawed numchucks (sp?) in CA while governor, etc. Other idiotic, petty shit.
We hear for 8 excruciating years from the Press Jackals about 'Reagan's Fragile Pre-Senility State' but Biden? OFF LIMITS. Okie doke.
I loved Reagan, still do. Of course he had his faults but he was a fantastic president. A recent (yet another) bio of him is VERY much worth a look from the mighty conservative author Larry Schweikart - Reagan: The American President. I think the best yet (Edmund Morris is a pompous ass and his 'Dutch' portrayed him as an amiable dunce; HW Brands also treats him like a simpleton).
Man that brought back memories of good times, loved that comment by Reagan when Johnny asked if he would run for President; " Remember what i told you about the CIA?" " There is enough fat in the Federal Government, you could rend it and wash the world" " I could see one day when the United States may feel very very lonely" " It could happen that neither party would represent what the people want and the people would do something about it "
Also, to be fair, Kane fairly routinely posts MY BowelSharpton stuff THERE with zero credit (my alter-ego at CFP is big_ralphie - pointed out the recent "excuse me sir [cop to homeless street guy] but you'll have to move as the illegals in the hotel across the street have complained about you" - crickets.....). I ALWAYS give credit where it's due - which I rarely see vice/versa in my case - but perhaps a PM would have been a bit nicer in this regard vs public shaming.

Best to link from Citizen Free Press, thanks 😊
Believe it or not, I discovered this elsewhere prior to seeing it posted on citizenfreepress, otherwise would have. Really, not kidding. 😎
