Only 50 pages into it. As expected, it reads like a history book. Stated facts with reference to sources. The Athenian "empire?", or state, rather, was apparently founded during the time of the Mosaic plagues upon Egypt. Where I remember american history books seem to be subjectfocused, meaning a chapter on ww2, then Korea, then vietnam, this book reads with interjection of corresponding history by timeline. Where we watch Rameses confronted by Moses,it was actually Amenophis being the pharaoh of that time. Rameses was more like a surname and was passed down. Egypt (the country) was actually named, due to history and not originally, after Amenophis' grandson, whose father was Neptunian ( or son of the sea. Son of the sea that swallowed his father Amenophis when he pursued Moses and the Israelites.).
Thanks for the book suggestion. What's your favorite part of it?
