Titus 3:9 - But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
Galatians 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Having a family history doesn't matter with salvation. The only thing that does, is the salvation of Jesus the Christ. The Jews are still waiting for their savior and guess who that is going to be?
