I've had it. I'm on my porch, having a beer with our family friends as our four kids (total) run around on the lawn. Then this masked couple (I've never seen in the neighborhood before) walk past and glare at us for 10-12 seconds straight as they walk past. Then I raised my beer and said Happy Easter! That's when they turned away and kept moving on. I mean, I'm in LA so that has a lot to do with it, but I'm sure they are everywhere. These NPC fucks can't win. They are so judgey and WRONG. I'm honestly going to move from here. The media, government, and false idols has destroyed regular folk.

I went into the grocery store yesterday and went up to the deli counter. I’m standing there waiting for the worker, some old tranny guy thing, to acknowledge me. The thing glares at me like I’m a piece of shit then goes back to cutting meat. This goes on several times until it points to the ordering kiosk and says I have to place my order there because Covid..... So I told it to fuck off and went to checkout. I can’t talk to you to place my order because germs but I can touch a public kiosk... makes sense.
At the checkout counter I was complaining to the cashier about it and another worker comes over and asks if the cashier was okay. I guess I was percieved as a threat? It felt like “Is this straight white man threatening you Amanda?”
I’m sick of this society, I want out.
Strange, in one of my local chain grocery stores they have decided using the kiosk is too dangerous so you must talk to the deli worker at the counter to order.
People who are afraid tend to act very irrationally.
The cure for all this is replacing fear with trust. Not an easy feat, but it won't happen with adversarial interactions. Love and support, fren. Even to the crazy people.
Hard to imagine maybe, but there really is no other way forward.
a couple of cult members moved in next door to me. They are in their late 20's / early 30's and had friends over today. All of them took a stroll around the block all masked. looked weird as fuck because they were all young and double masking
I'll say it back to you: Happy Easter!
Hope those self-righteous gits didn't ruin the day for you. Glad you got together with your kids and family and friends and enjoyed yourselves!
Thanks fren. Happy Easter to you as well.
In high school, we had many names for this type. Freaks, geeks, dweebs, dorks, lovers, faggots....pick one
Which one of the 550,000 covid dead did a mask save. None. In fact the second wave of deaths were higher that the first where more people were wearing masks.
sounds like you need to move to the center of a semi rural town adjacent to a large city within your state.
That way you can live among good, decent, hardworking, kind people, and still drive about an hour to do big city things if you want.
But yeah, I don't like living in a city or anywhere that resembles one (like sprawling LA county) bc there is such a crabs in a bucket, self centered, shitty attitude there that is ALWAYS on display-- people have picked it up as a defense mechanism from living among shitty, violent, lazy drug addicts and having to call that their community every single day while crime spills over from other neighborhoods and they have a total low trust society and their shit gets stolen if they leave it out and ANYONE walks by.
then they deny all that truth I just dropped and pretend it doesn't fucking suck there.
If my neighbors walked by, I got good odds on getting a dropped wallet at the end of my driveway returned to my doorstep. People are good. They do the right thing when nobody is watching.
I bet you can COUNT ON people in your area to do the wrong thing nearly every time they think nobody is watching, and maybe even do the wrong thing in broad daylight with eyes on them. City living creates cruel, careless creatures.
Move to an emerging rural town, build a new house, and mortgage it for less/month than your rent was. Teleconference to your job or work a factory gig. Build equity. Be happier.
God Bless you playa. Sometimes it isn't even enough to find community nearby if you're still within a larger community that is godless and cruel. It will eventually rub off on you too! Don't develop those defense mechanism that turn you into that. Hold on to what makes you kind.
That's kinda like Southern Hospitality, we wave, we say hello to strangers, but if you don't return in kind, "Fuck you then"
We are cabin shopping this weekend in a mountain town 2 hours away. Not sure what I'll do there but I know I'll be happier breathing mountain air and talking with people who are hospitable and kind without judgment. I know it's a conservative town too with no local government. The people run the town.
All you unmasked people should have just simply walked up to them and hung out around them. They would freak out like babies.
