Yes, that annoyed the hell out of me. It's like they were thinking maybe they ought to jump bad but weren't quite sure. I think they were afraid of what their commander was going to do to them. . .when it is he who should be in jeopardy.
I just say this: it's good there were many witnesses with cameras, else they may have just smashed the guy. (Maybe these are some of the new CCP-friendly cops hired after the good guys were forced to quit from "defund the police". . ?)
