Our vaccine is 95% effective. However they pulled that number out of thin air. They did not and would not expose people to live virus. I suspect they did so in animals but I don't think they did much animal testing.

Here's how they actually ran their trials. 30k people participated and either did or did not get the vaccine. They then waited for about 100 of them to develop covid symptoms and tested those people for covid. Of those who were positive, 95% of them had not taken the vaccine. They didn't test any of the other 30k people who never developed symptoms.

Even setting aside that a 100-person sample size in no other scientific study would be considered viable, they're using the fact that "only 5% of the people we tested had taken the vaccine" to claim that the vaccine is 95% effective, which is preposterous.

I’d believe that the mRNA therapies are 95% effective of reducing the severity of disease symptoms.

But they don’t confer immunity. And they don’t prevent transmission.

So they’re about as useful as taking immunity supplements or other therapies.

Either false positive or the vaccines don't work. Either explanation casts doubt on an important narrative.

...or the shot gives people covid is the third possibility.

Don’t know you have it without a test?

Well, seems their 2-3 month estimate is about right.

It's almost like the vaccines are rushed, shady bullshit and don't work or something.

To be clear he took the Russian Sputnik V vaccine. The Johnson&Johnson is based on it and is not as effective (65%) as the mRNA pfizer and moderna (90%+) vaccines. The J&J is liked from a public health/top down pov because it's easier to make and distribute- so good for combatting pandemics - not so hot from the user's POV.

So far Pfizer looks best as the Moderna has scary ass side effects (other then allergic reaction - which are even worse). From what I've read so far, Phizer just has the normal adult vaccine side effects.

Russian sputnik vaccine. He tests positive for antibodies and they put him in isolation?

WTF?
