This dude was an HR guy for 4 years and made his name by narc'ing on vets for taking extra leave. No combat experience to see that there is a massive difference between an M4 in the marine corps and an AR-15 for civilians. The only problem is that citizens should be allowed to buy full auto m4's. Every gun law is an infringement.
Agree, even though full auto isn't effective except for covering fire. We had 3 round burst on the A2s. I thought it was very effective compared to full auto.
Most of the time I used single fire. One shot, one kill. Besides, the sustained rate of fire can easily be exceeded by semi-auto fire only.
Still, IMHO, the same arms used by individual Marines, should be available to civilians. Even automatic. An untrained person with automatic fire will blaze through their mag and be easily targeted when they are reloading.
