Local Home Despot manager really pissed me off last week (we're big spenders for farm and long term house reno work). He kindly told my family to mask up. I told him no, health condition and he pushed it further until we just left.
I called him out b/c he's making excuses about health department shutdowns when he's been open the whole damn time and he just finished helping another dude whose mask was under his nose. He didn't say anything to him. I could probably walk around with it on my chin (and have) and not get more than a glance. What an absolute bunch of retardation!!!

Yes, it proves it's about control and compliance. You can wear one on your chin and no one will say anything. I was even in a coffee shop once here in NoVa and a woman saw that I did not even have a mask and was not even drinking a coffee (I finished it and threw it out and was working on my laptop.) No one else had theirs on but they all had them on the table or on their chins and were drinking coffee. She became hysterical that I had no mask and was not eating or drinking and got the manager and got me kicked out. It's obviously not about health to people like her. Why is she hanging out in a coffee shop if there's a deadly pandemic? It's such bullshit.
