And yes, I agree that the actual religious books are filled with a bunch of provable nonsense. But none of that is what is important.
I'm still in the process of figuring that out for myself. So far what I've got is family, duty, and honor (all strong themes throughout most religions, but especially Christianity). Those are what will fulfil you in life. Trying to chase pleasure and happiness won't bring you either outside of momentary glimpses, and in the end you will still feel empty.
I wasn't trying to be a dick when I said you may be too young to understand what I'm trying to tell you, I mean it. But I believe that over time, you'll start to see what I've come to see. And that doesn't mean you'll start reading the bible one day or anything like that.
