I don’t see where my comment really disagrees with yours. The point is for the people to want a police state. The people begging for it, whatever it may be, will be used as proof of agreed to by the people.
We've gotta get through the rest of this communist revolution first. Since they're meeting no resistance it shouldn't be long before the commies disband those agencies and build their own forces. Then we have a number of years under that rule.

They're never going to completely 100% defund the police. There always will be police there to arrest people who defend themselves. They just want to have insufficient police to stop crime/riot/arson.

We were never supposed to have a standing army
There honestly should have been a conservative consensus on this a long time ago, no later than Ruby Ridge.
