At this point, it's self inflicted. If you choose to continue supporting a blue city (by paying taxes, employing other blue city tax payers, etc), you are doing this to yourself.
If I owned a store in Minneapolis, I would have long since moved my stock to a storage unit in Idaho, and hung a "Closed because of Covid" sign on the door, and tripled my insurance coverage.
