Also according to the NAACP, 2.3 million, or 34% of the 6.8M people in jail are black. (2.3 Million). Let's be generous and assume half of those are males. that's another -1.15M (that's 10% of the 3.25) or 2.9% remaining, not in jail, black males between the ages of 16 to 59.
So basically 2.9% of the population, black males aged 16 to 49, are responsible for 60% of America's crime. And if you only include ages 16 to 39, it's around 2%
